Guten Tag! My name is Kurt Wagner, professional swordsman, hero, and romantic. I am also a mutant, and I know that my appearance is occasionally more than people are ready to accept, but soon my undeniable good looks and winning personality shine through, ja?

It is a busy life, being a hero, but not so busy perhaps as it was when I was the Incredible Nightcrawler in the Munich Circus. I am learning quickly, however, and with all of the use I am getting out of my acrobatic skills, I do not think I will become rusty any time soon.

These days I am living in the busy city of Los Angeles, trying to keep myself and as many people as I can out of trouble! Unless it is the sort of trouble with gorgeous legs. I also occasionally hang out in this nexus place, which is full of wonderful and interesting people, but from this side of the fourth wall, I will tell you that what happens in the nexus will not carry over to Los Angeles.

Hair	Indigo
Skin	Body almost entirely covered in fine indigo fur.
Unusual Features	Nightcrawler has only 3 fingers (including an opposable thumb) on each hand, and only 2 toes, each longer than an ordinary human's, on each foot. He has a prehensile tail about 3 1/2 feet long, which can carry his own weight, and pointed ears and pronounced fang-like canine teeth, adding to his devilish appearance. He sits in a crouch, often perched so that his head is at eye level, and can perform contortionist-like feats.
Teleportation	Nightcrawler can transport himself, his clothing, and anything he can carry from one point in space to another, accompanied by a burst of fire and brimstone and a soft 'bamf' of displaced air. Momentum is retained and he cannot teleport to a place he cannot see. Horizontal teleports are easiest, especially along a North-South access. Verticle jumps are exhausting. On a good day, carrying only himself, he can jump 3 miles N-S, 2 miles E-W, and up to 2 miles straight up. He is actually moving through a Brimstone Dimension, but so quickly that he does not realize it.
Micro-Suction Discs	His hands and feet are covered in microscopic disks, like a gecko's, which allow him to cling to virtually any surface.
Camouflage	Nightcrawler has limited abilities to blend into shadows, both as a result of his indigo fur and his connection to light-bending attributes of the dimension through which he teleports. This power is always "on," so much so that he constantly appears to be in shadow, even in direct light.
Prehensile Tail	Grasps onto objects with relative ease. His tail is strong enough to not only support his body weight but also lift an adult man completely off the ground, and is deft enough to fight with like a sword or blunt object.
Night Vision	Nightcrawler's eyes glow faintly, and allow him to see even in complete darkness.
Superhuman agility	Nightcrawler's spine is more flexible than a normal man, allowing him to twist and contort, and his reflexes are also enhanced to make him incredibly agile.
Increased strength	While not superhuman, Kurt is stronger than a man of his size and build who exercizes regularly.
